i got a new computer and it started syncing with an old computer and i don't want all that junk can i start over?

Preferences not syncing to my new computer

Do you still have access to your old computer to go in and make sure the settings Sync is enabled? If this is the PC you said you returned to the store, it was probably wiped and may have had Sync Your Settings sync as deleted.

Is your old computer still listed in your Microsoft Account devices?

Sync Your Settings is intended for active devices presently signed into the Microsoft Account.

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

Syncing DropBox Between Old & New Computer

Am attempting to sync between old & new computers. Have Dropbox loaded on both units but they are not syncing? One laptop has MS Home and new one has OpenOffice. Could this be the issue? If not, how do I link the computers?

 

Old telephone, New computer

I recently bought a new laptop with 64-bit Vista Ultimate. I have been unable to sync my very old Siemens telephone running Pocket PC 2003. Any suggestions? I have tried what MS suggested and the computer recognizes when I plug the two together but
it does not show up any where inside Windows, including Windows Mobile Device Center.
