Windows 10: I got a new dell PC windows 7- Intel core and I can't log into it cuz it just shows old...

I got a PC from a storage unit I bought but it won't let me log into it or add my account I don't want the previous owners info or anything they have on it, Im connected to the internet but I can't access it..how do I log in and add my account info on to it?

"New" 12th generation Intel Core i7-1255U not on "Windows 11 supported Intel processors" list

This seems like to prevents me from install Windows 11 22H2 patch 5017321 on my brand new Acer Aspire 5 Intel Core i7-1255U, that was OEM-preinstalled with Windows 11. After multiple attempt on Windows Update, no suggestion on new update appeared. Tried with "Windows Update Catalogue" but got a message that prevent install (Like: This installer not applicable for your device")

Note: I was able earlier via Windows Update to update earlier pacthes and drivers for this laptop but as mentioned above not the latest one.

Is the reason for my trouble the absent of "my "processor" in Windows 11 supported Intel processors list and will it be presented or newer on that list?

Strange, because "my" processor is has newer generation Intel Core i7 than what is on that list now.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

How much is my old PC worth?

I did some eBay hunting a couple months ago and got my brother an off-lease Dell PC:

Dell OptiPlex 7010 mini-tower​

• Intel Q77 chipset
• Intel Core i5-3570 processor: 3.4 GHz base / 3.8 GHz turbo, 4 cores / 4 threads
• 4GB of memory
  
• 500GB, 7200 RPM hard drive
  
• Windows 7 Pro

It has a few limitations (being a Dell business computer), but for a $132 U.S., he got a decent machine that will last him for 2-3 years. With competition like that, an old Core 2 Duo machine isn't worth much....
