Windows 10: I got a notice of an updat today that was 16 days old in effect. Now I get for two files,...

In my Home - One drive, I got a notice today for an update in effect 16 days now. So far, there are two files that I get "This item might not exist or is no longer available. I clicked on a third file and got, "Sign into your Microsoft account." This is troubling as Microsoft lost 7+ files between 04-13-2019 and 02-01-2020. One of these files, "Church Blueprint" is affiliated to one of the files lost. Please advise.

As initial troubleshooting steps I suggest you to install the latest windows 10 updates, please follow the steps to install all the windows updates.

If you want to check for the update now, select the Start button, then select
Settings > Update & security >
Windows Update > Check for updates.

We suggest you to try changing the visual effect setting. To Change your Visual Effects Settings in Advanced System Settings refer the below steps,

  Press Windows logo key+ X
  
• 
  Click on Control panel
  
• 
  Select System and Security
  
• 
  Click on System
  
• 
  And select System protection
  
• 
  Select Advanced tab and click on
  Settings
  
• 
  Now select the option Let Windows choose what’s best for my computer
  option.

old email addresses

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.
