Windows 10: I got an error wer failure logged off and back on and screen turned black . It said...

Don’t know the details. Error wer failure . Said steam was gathering information to report to Microsoft. I was only on Facebook playing a game. All of a sudden it stuck and I got off and was watching news on it . Well , now it’s goes totally black screen. It’s all updated windows and all . Is my laptop just out of memory? Should I take it somewhere?

Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?
