Windows 10: I had a power outage. Now the computer turns on but just shows the four blue boxes, nothing...

I had a power outage. Now when I turn on the power, I just see 4 blue boxes. There was a message about preparing automatic system repair, but now it’s not showing.

Power Outage, Now Blue Screens!


I had a power outage a few days ago, and now my Windows 10 Pro has random Blue Screen problems.

My system was running fine before, did the Windows 10 Upgrade from Windows 8.1 Pro no problem.

I'm pretty sure the outage stopped my machine and potentially corrupted files.

I just happened to have new ram for the machine that I hadn't installed yet, so I put that in just to make sure my RAM was good.

The Blue Screens happen at random times, even when I haven't touched the machine after reboot.
It will just blue screen again after a few minutes to a couple of hours.

I have the Samsung XP941 and ASRock Z97 Extreeme 9 Motherboard.

I'm hoping it hasn't damaged my Samsung card/HD.
It's hard to tell anything with that M.2 SSD drive.
No real diagnostic software or firmware stuff from Samsung anyways.

Just need some next step pointers to help me get this system stable again!

Power Outage

Hi there, I just had a power outage and i'm worried that my windows installation will be damaged. I have an SSD. Should there be any steps I should do now? What should I check?

 

Computer Causing Power Outage?

The bathroom shouldn't be on the same circuit as your bedroom and office. It should using GFCI/RCD on a different breaker all together. If you are not I suggest you get an electrician out there to fix that ASAP. If its true the entire second floor is on one circuit I suggest you move or have it rewired. That's not only poor building but dangerous.

But I don't expect you to listen to me.

If you are going to be living where you are right now I suggest you have a dedicated line ran to your computers outlet.
