Windows 10: I had a question regarding being removed from a family in MS Family Safety

Hi, I was asking on behalf of a friend who set up an account back in 2020. When he did, the computer set his date of birth to 2020 making him only 4 years old, even though is an older gentleman. Therefore in microsoft family he is listed as a child and the organiser, however. we cannot access the organiser account as he only has one email address. We contacted the help chat and they were a great help, however, they could not solve the issue either and referred us to here. We tried several things, but what we did was we set up a new family on my account, which is an adult one, then we tried to

Remove myself from the Family safety

I understand that you are trying to remove yourself from the Family safety settings in Windows. We will help you.

Note: You cannot remove yourself from a family if you are the only adult and there are still child accounts still in the family.
If you want to remove yourself, you'll need to add another adult first, or remove all the child accounts first.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you regarding the
family safety settings.

Turn off family settings in Windows.

• To turn off family settings for a child in your family, sign in at account.microsoft.com/family. Then choose one of these
  options:
  • Remove them from family settings by choosing Remove, then selecting their account, then selecting
    Remove again. They’ll still be able to sign in to their PCs, but this will remove any family limits that you set.
  • Or select them from the main family page, which will bring you to their Recent activity. If
    Activity reporting is turned On, turn it
    Off. Then repeat for the other settings pages (Web browsing, Apps, games & media, Screen time, Purchase & spending), making sure that those switches are turned
    Off.

Microsoft family features (includes family safety features formerly known as
Microsoft Family Safety), is a free set of features available on Windows 10 PC and Mobile that is bundled with the Windows 10 operating system.
Please ensure that the parent email account is set as an administrator on the child's laptop. Once done, you may follow the steps below to properly manage the settings on the Family Safety website:

• On the Start screen, type Family Safety.
• Click on Settings.
• Click the Family Safety icon.
• On the bottom part of the window, click Manage settings on the Family Safety website. Your default browser will direct you to the Family Safety website.
• Sign in using the parent account.
