Discus and support I had an unwanted update to windows 11. Now it says I need a bit locker recovery number... in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Microsoft forced my computer to update to the poor quality Windows 11.     I had an unwanted update to windows 11. Now it says I need a bit locker recovery number...


    Microsoft forced my computer to update to the poor quality Windows 11. Not it's requiring a bit locker recovery code which doesn't exist on my account. So my options seem to factory reset my computer and lose all my info or keep it bricked. Someone help.

    Please provide some additional information, so that we can assist you better.

    1. What is the error message appears when you’re trying to enter a Bit locker key?
    2. What is the version of Windows 10 you have installed?
    3. What is the make and model number of your computer?

    Issues might be happening because of entering Incorrect Bit Locker recovery key. Bit Locker key password will be a 48-digit alpha numeric characters.


    However you may refer this article on how to find

    Bit Locker Recovery Key

    A update was run on my laptop and now I have to enter a Bit Locker Recovery Key Number, I have this number but I cannot enter it for some reason please advise.

    Bit-locker will not accept its recovery key number... seems an encryption is taking place causing failure.

    After a Windows update, the PC requested a Bit-locker Recovery Key ID to be entered into a "window box" on the screen. I typed the Recovery Key ID number as provided into the "window box", however as I type the Recovery Key ID numbers into the "box", not
    all of the number key strokes typed are "accepted" into the entry "window box". As a result, the Recovery Key ID number provided cannot be entered. I see numbers appear which I have not entered, leading me to believe an encryption is occurring as I type in
    the ID number provided. My computer is frozen on the blue Bit-Locker entry screen for the Recovery Key.

    ANY HELP RESOLVING THIS ISSUE IS APPRECIATED.
