Windows 10: I had to do a system Image recovery form a successful backup earlier today, appears to be...

Earlier today, I did a System Image Backup and it was successful. Later in the day my eclipse failed while working on a project so I performed a System Image Recovery. It restored without error, the login came up and I was able to log in. However, Windows 10 did not come up with the windows menu, nothing shows up. I can ctrl alt delete and restart but same issue.I have used system image backup and restore in the past without issue.What do I do next to fix this issue?Thank You,J Ford

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

As the above steps doesn't work, I suggest you to try the below and check.

I suggest you to restore the system to the previous point where PC was working normally. To do so kindly follow the below given steps:

• 
  Press Windows + I key and click on Update and security.
  
• 
  Click on Recovery, and click on
  Restart under Advance startup.
  
• 
  In the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, click
  'Troubleshoot'.
  
• 
  Click, Advanced Options and then click on
  System Restore.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen suggestion to restore your PC to earlier point.

System Image Backup

This issue can be caused by corrupted system files or hardware failures. Since secondary hard disk, portable drives, USB flash drive and repair discs won't work, we suggest that you perform a Startup Repair. Kindly follow these steps on how to perform a
Startup Repair:

• Boot to Advanced Startup Options:
  • Click the Windows logo and open Settings, click on Update & Security icon.
  • Click on Recovery on the left side, and click on Restart now under
    Advanced startup on the right side.
• On Windows Recovery Environment, click on Troubleshoot.
• Click on Advanced options.
• Click on Startup Repair.
• If prompted, select the OS you want to perform a startup repair on. Select an administrator account to provide credentials for approval, enter the password under the selected administrator and click
  Continue.
  
• Start Repair will now start "Diagnosing your PC", and attempt to automatically repair it. If repairs aren't successful, you'll see a summary of the problem in the log file.
  • Note: Sometimes it may take running Startup Repair up to 3 times and restarting the PC each time to fix the startup issue. To run Startup Repair again, perform the steps again.
