I bought Windows 7 full version years back. Then suddenly, due to a electricity power cut, my computer broke. The shop had to change motherboard because that had gone broken, and they also had to switch the hard disk drive because of that. The new motherboard didn't except Windows 7 anymore, so they installed Windows 10 not activated version. Now the problem is that I can not update my old Windows 7 to Windows 10 free as I apparently? should be allowed to. That's because the computer doesn't have the Win7 anymore, and I can not install it into it anymore as explained above. And I can't find i

How do I install windows 10 without harming my windows 7?

Here's what I suggest you to do:
    1. From Windows 7, download & Install Macrium Reflect Free. Connect one of your new 500GB HD and clone your current Windows 7 to it. Follow step 1,2,3 from the screen shot:

    1. Disconnect your current Windows 7 then boot up with the new cloned copy of Windows 7
    2. Upgrade it to Windows 10 so it will be fully activated.
    3. If you decide to keep Windows 10 then do a fresh install of Windows 10. If not, disconnect the 500GB HD containing Windows 10 then re-connect your Windows 7
    4. You are back to where it was before.

    Windows 7 Versions

Can somebody help me really quick? I'm trying to install Windows 7 64 bit on a Vista 32 system, and when I put the CD in it says

"This installation disc isn't compatible with your version of Windows. To upgrade, you need the correct installation disc. For more info, check your computer's system information. To install a new copy of Windows, restart (Boot) your computer using the installation disc, and then select Custom (advanced)"

Windows 7 came with two discs, do I need to put the 32-bit software disc in to upgrade it to 64 bit? It's saying I can't use the 64 bit disc.
