Windows 10: I hate realtek

Why can't a company of their size figure out how to make a driver that can last more than a couple weeks before it confuses my headphones and speakers. I unplug my headphones and the speakers are playing this quiet but scratchy sound which I have no idea how to fix no matter how many online fixes I've tried. Wake me want to throw my computer out the window. Do I really need to reinstall this shit every time it does this?

Install all pending updates on the system, restart and check the status of the issue. Further, I suggest you to try the below methods and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Method 1: Run the Audio Troubleshooter on the system

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter

Method 2: Update the Audio drivers and check the status of the issue

Try updating the Audio drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

a. Press Windows key + X key and click
Device Manager.

b. Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.

c. Right-click on the Sound card and click on
Update driver software.

d. Restart the computer and check.

If issue still persist and if sound works when you remove Realtek drivers, suggest him to follow the link below to

The Ultimate Realtek HD Audio Driver Mod for Windows 10

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
