Windows 10: I HATE WINDOWS 10

Like others, my Win 7 Ultimate OS was working fine. There was no reason to upgrade or do anything different. I held on as long as I could and finally, at the advice of a friend, I *cough* downgraded *cough* to Windows 10. I feel like I no longer have control of my computer any more. The system does what it wants to do no matter what settings I change, what registry entries are modified, or what policies are edited. It spontaneously kicks on it's stupid god awful embedded windows defender BS regardless of how many times I turn off real-time monitoring. I'm fed up with this POS. Microsoft, You p

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
