    I have 16GB of ram installed in my Laptop but for some reason only 5.9GB of that is usable....


    I own an Acer nitro 5 AN515-43-R3MG and I have not been running into a lot of trouble with it until now. It has a Ryzen 7 350H along with its Integrated graphics card and a dedicated GPU, a GTx 1650, and 16GB of ram installed. I began to encounter this problem I assume a week ago when I noticed that my laptop has been stuttering more than usual. I dismissed it and presumed it was a problem with the drive and went ahead to fix it. Then one day I open up my task manager and encounter this:Apparently, my computer is reserving 10GB of ram!!! I was very surprised by this and decided to investigate

    32GB Installed (16GB Usable)

    One month ago I upgraded from 16GB ram to 32GB ram. But since then it has said 32GB Installed memory (16GB usable) and the other 16GB is in the hardware reserved.

    The motherboard does support 32GB ram and so does the processor. But I have tried these steps and still doesn't resolve the issue.

    PC Specs:

    Ryzen 5 2600

    GTX 1070

    DDR4 32GB 3200mhz CL16 Ballistix ram

    Gigabyte GA-A320M-H motherboard

    I have tried

    Updating BIOS:

    Changing the page file in virtual memory.

    Change msconfig.

    Reseating the CPU and RAM.
