    i have 2 computers, 1 PC, 1 Laptop. they each use an install for windows from my wife's employer. She is retiring soon. i want to take over the install license for these machines. how do i do that?

    Rebuild of PC but networking is really confusing; 1 PC and 2 Laptops.

    More Progress...
    My PC did not see wife's laptop as it had turned itself off, now it does:

    Laptop 2 (Brothers) can see both my PC and wife's laptop 1.
    Wife's laptop 1 does not see laptop 2 or my PC.

    Laptop 2 seems to be able to access any file on Wife's laptop 1.
    Laptop 2 can access the default folder on my PC (App Data to Videos) But most are empty on my PC, laptop 2 can access the Alan Folder but cannot see the two folders held in that folder.

    My PC can access my wife's laptop and any folder following the User link. Seems all is available.
    My PC can access Laptop 2 but only Users, default and public.

    Wife's laptop 1 cannot access anything.

    Rebuild of PC but networking is really confusing; 1 PC and 2 Laptops.

    Got as far as I can at the moment. Got all 3 devices and 3 mice to juggle and a USB stick to copy snippets!
    As the first test failed I have re enabled the Bitdefender Firewalls
