Boot Surface Laptop to USB - no Volume button

This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.

Surface Book 2, Pro, & Laptop firmware updates for Windows 10 Insiders Surface

The following Surface devices are reportedly receiving firmware updates if you are set to get Windows 10 Insider updates.

• Surface Laptop version 135.2139.257.0
• Surface Pro
• Surface Book 2

There are currently no release notes from Microsoft yet, but I'll update this if made available.

Low volume on the new Surface Book 3

Having the same issue

The volume of a brand new Surface Book 3 is very low compared to previous models or the laptop version.

Tried what's suggested above, but no change.
