I was wondering what was the need for dashost.exe. What my search results; This executable pairs both wireless and wired devices with your PC. It’ll be used if you use a Bluetooth mouse or a wired mouse, and the same thing goes for printers, webcams, etc… It also said there should only be 1 and located in c:/windows/system32. Since the other 3 are within the windows/winsxs.locations and details of all 4 dashost.exe;97 KB 07/12/2022 6:59PMc:\windows\system3297 KB 07/12/2022 6:59PMc:/windows/winsxs/amd64_microsoft-windows-o..ssociationframework_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.19041.1806_none_1

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

    Virus file problem

    1) The virus is in a protected system file.
    2) The system restore files are protected and remain resident untill you disable the system restore.
    3) They are deleted during a reboot.
    4) You may then re-enable system restore.
    5) POW!!!
