I have 530MB WinRE partition and 100% free but still I am getting KB5034441 -Error 0x80070643.

Hi everyone, I was annoyed by regular failure message of KB5034441 -Error 0x80070643. And tried to check the recommended solution of resizing WinRE. But I just realized that my WinRE partition is more than double of recommended size 250MB already and 100% free. So, what is next in such case ? Regards,

    :)

KB5034441 0x80070643 error despite no WinRE volume

Like many Win10 users, I am getting the 0x80070643 error when I try installing the KB5034441 update. The claim everyone makes is that this is due to the WinRE volume not having enough space. But I don't even have a WinRE partition -- I've disabled WinRE and deleted its partition. What is going on here? And will a repair install help? I was considering doing a repair install for other reasons anyway. Is there a way to tell if a repair install would include KB5034441? If it didn't include it, I don't see the point.

I disabled, and removed the Recovery partition, and removed the Win RE parts as well. If you get these results (RED) from the commands shown (YELLOW), then you don't need the KB5034441 update. In my situation, there is nothing there for the hackers to... hack. Search your C:\ (Windows partition), for winre.wim [normally located in... C:\Windows\System32\Recovery] If it's not there, you probably don't need this update.
    I have 530MB WinRE partition and 100% free but still I am getting KB5034441 -Error 0x80070643. 403831d1705591861t-kb5034441-0x80070643-error-despite-no-winre-volume-image1.png
If you use 3rd party backup software, you don't really need a Recovery partition. And even if you may need it for something... you can access it from the Windows install media. And... as @Hearsepilot mentioned, MS is claiming to have a fixed update ready by March-ish.

I have 530MB WinRE partition and 100% free but still I am getting KB5034441 -Error 0x80070643.

    Regarding KB5034441 with 0x80070643 Error

Hi all Generally, Windows Update works well on my WIndows 10, and I frequently update. Several weeks ago, I got a problem with KB5034441, with Error 0x80070643.
    I have 530MB WinRE partition and 100% free but still I am getting KB5034441 -Error 0x80070643. 405363d1707684844t-regarding-kb5034441-0x80070643-error-er.png
I tried googling it, and from what I saw, people mentioned there a deleted Recovery partition. I might've deleted my Recovery partition in the past, when I bought this laptop, (I am not sure, but it sounds like me) but today when I check in Disk Management, it seems that I do have one.. (just without a name - "RECOVERY") Please see the third one, here:
    I have 530MB WinRE partition and 100% free but still I am getting KB5034441 -Error 0x80070643. 405364d1707684859t-regarding-kb5034441-0x80070643-error-diskmanagement.png
So If I do have a Recovery partition, yet still get this error, what is the best way to proceed? Thank you all for your help
