Windows 10: i have a big black line at bottom of my laptop how do i get rid of that

i have a big black line at bottom of my laptop under my icons..how do i get rid of this

I have a acer laptop and when I first got it there was no problems later on I noticed a small black dot on my desktop and decided that it would go away, a few mouths later there is a big line that takes up the middle of my screen. it is starting to irritate
me, so I was wandering how to get rid of it

My laptop shows a small black line about 2cm x 2mm that does not move. If I connect the laptop to an external monitor that line does not show up. Guess it is time to look for a new laptop? *cry Maybe I can find something on Cyber Monday.

The black line that appears on the screen of your laptop can either be a software or a hardware related concern. Let’s try isolating this issue by
starting your PC in safe mode. This will help us identify it’s caused by an incompatible driver.

If the black line won’t show up anymore while your laptop is in safe mode, that means the
driver is faulty. To resolve that issue, we suggest that you update the drivers in Windows 10.

Just in case that you’ll still see the black line while on safe mode, then, it’s already a
