Windows 10: I have a Bing Chat button instead of the Search Highlights image

Good morning!The problem that i'm facing is that I have a Bing Button Chat that it says "Open in Edge" instead of showing the Search Highlights image, and I don't found anywhere to deactivate.I just want to see the image of everyday.Is there anyway of remove this bing chat item? and replace it with the image of every day, like it was before?Regards.Federico.

New LaTeX Support in Bing Chat

Last week, we announced updates to SwiftKey and other mobile apps that bring Bing chat to your fingertips in ways that improve your productivity. We’re also excited about yesterday’s announcement that Copilot is coming to Microsoft Viva.

Here’s a summary of what else has changed in Bing chat since our April 7 update:

LaTeX Support: We shipped support for LaTeX markup—allowing Bing chat to correctly display complex mathematical expressions. This makes Bing chat an even more useful tool for learning math concepts or writing technical research papers.

Reducing End-of-conversation Triggers: We’ve heard your feedback that messages would sometimes trigger Bing to unnecessarily end conversations (e.g. “I’m sorry but I prefer not to continue this conversation.” or “It might be time to move on to a new topic.”). This should now occur less frequently than before, and we’re continuing to investigate cases where this happens.

News Grounding: We’ve taken steps to help Bing give better answers if you’re asking questions about news (e.g. “What are today’s top breaking news stories?”). Expect us to make further grounding improvements based on your feedback.

Additionally, we fixed some known bugs—including:

Reducing instances where Bing chat triggered unnecessary duplicative searches.

Minimizing errors that led to Bing chat returning no response to queries.

Bing Chat now with Travel and Recipe Grounding Improvements

This week, we’re excited about the announcement that Microsoft Designer has expanded its public preview and added new AI features. Designer uses our latest generative AI models to help you create graphics and visual content.

Here’s a summary of what has changed in Bing chat since our April 21 update:

Improving Travel and Recipe Grounding: We’ve taken steps to help Bing chat give better answers if you're asking questions about travel or recipes. For both, we improved the accuracy of citations. For recipes, we used improved grounding data from recipe content providers and made sure that citations directed you to the recipe site instead of Bing.com. Expect us to make further grounding improvements based on your feedback.

Reducing End-of-conversation Triggers: We continue to work to resolve cases where Bing chat unnecessarily ends conversations (e.g. “I’m sorry but I prefer not to continue this conversation.” or “It might be time to move on to a new topic.”). We made some additional changes this week to reduce some of the most egregious scenarios where this occurred.

Additionally, we fixed a bug where Bing chat in Edge Sidebar wasn’t able to recognize the content in the browser’s active tab.

Bing Chat Formatting Improvements and Image Creator Language Support

We’re excited about yesterday’s announcement regarding new features coming to chat in Bing and Edge, including the removal of the waitlist to access the Open Preview.

Over the next few weeks, you may see us temporarily experiment with some of these new features. We’ll continue to use these Release Notes to update you on which features are fully available to all users.

Here are the first two of those:

 Formatting of Chat Answers: We’ve made improvements in support for rich formatting in answers. You should see better and more consistent use of bolding, bulleted lists, and tables when in Creative mode.

Multi-language Support in Image Creator: You can now ask Bing chat to generate images using over 100 languages. Previously, it only supported requests in English.
