    I've been randomly waking up and getting a blue screen i've uploaded the dump file if anyone is able to debug it and let me know what it is saying

    Permissions for uploading to OneDrive

    Hello--

    I am trying to upload .dmp files to OneDrive so I can seek assistance with a Blue Screen problem I've been having. I'm using Windows 10, and am on the sole user account, listed as Administrator. I can upload other files, but when I try to upload a .dmp I
    get an error window that says "You don't have permission to open this file".

    I've tried a few right-click > Security > Advanced > Full control/enable inheritance/button mashing, and a Command Prompt "net user administrator /active:yes" spits out: "System error 5 has occurred." followed by a surly "Access is denied."

    Any tips would be appreciated.

    This error is usually caused by system file error, may I ask what operation are you performing that is causing blue screen?

    Can your computer boot to the desktop now?

    If so, you can follow the steps below to find the blue screen log and we will try to analyze the log to find the cause of the blue screen. You can send the blue screen log to us as an OneDrive link:

    please check if there are .dmp files in the C:\Windows\Minidump directory.

    • If so, package these files, upload them to OneDrive, and share them, and then include a link to share them in the next reply. Since these files detail exactly what happened when your system crashed, this helps us resolve your issue.
    • If not, run the following command to try to enable it. Win logo key + Q, open the search box, type "cmd", then right-click Command Prompt, select Run as administrator), and then type the following command.
    This is to enable blue screen logging. You need to try to access the C:\Windows\Minidump directory to see if there are .dmp files after the next blue screen appears.

    If there are any updates or changes, please do not hesitate to let me know.
