I have a blue wheel spinning next to mouse pointer and my cursor is also randomly disappearing whenever I attempt to type anything on any program in Windows 11 pro. How can I fix this issue?

Spinning wheel next to a mouse cursor

Hi,

I bought an HP Spectre 2 weeks back. It has an 8 GB ram and 256GB SSD drive. From day 1 itself, there is a blue spinning wheel next to the mouse cursor that keeps coming sporadically. I have tried the following but to no help:

1. Ensured my mouse cursor setting is restored to default

2. Deleted temp and %temp% files

Could you please assist.

Spinning blue circle next to mouse pointer

This is an incredibly frustrating issue. I do a lot of screen capture recordings and I can't have my mouse arrow popping up a blue circle every 4 to 5 seconds. I'm not sure exactly when this started for me, but now that I'm ready to do some more recording
I'm noticing it constantly.

Here's a solution I've found to at least stop the blue circle:

• Start with the Microsoft suggestion of going to the mouse properties.
• Click on the "Pointers" tab.
• Select the "Working In Background" pointer and click on "Browse"
• Select the first mouse arrow option (the one that looks like a normal mouse arrow)

This doesn't get rid of whatever is causing the system to have to keep working in the background, but it will at least make the blue circle stop popping up.

 

[SOLVED] Windows 10 Mouse Cursor/Pointer always busy

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 my mouse pointer/cursor constantly has a loading icon next to it (the blue spinning wheel). I've tried a lot of solutions but none seem to work. It is very annoying and constantly bugs me. If anyone knows a way to resolve
this issue, please help me.
