Windows 10: I have a bluescreen error REFERENCE_BY_POINTER which happened during startup.

This bluescreen error has locked out my mouse and keyboard. I can't do anything. How do I fix it when I can't get access. or even shut down?

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

So far none of the suggestions work or are irrelevant to Windows 10 (latest updates included).

Though plagued by frequent (+/- every 3 days) blue screen crashes (BSOD) with the error PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and to date none of the suggested fixes able to overcome the problem, I assume that it is insurmountable for Microsoft and will thus just
have to wait ...

Now and since the latest upgrade/updates were installed, we have begun being hit by BSOD Error REFERENCE_BY_POINTER. None of the attempted solutions here or anywhere else have worked. We have

twice crashed in three hours while working.

This is happening on Dell Inspiron 3537 with 8GB RAM. No new hardware has been added. Is there a solution for this yet or will we have to simply grin and bear it as we have to with the nonpaged area error?

Bluescreen problem of Windows10

Hello,

Early in 2021/8/16, the pc often shows bluescreen with error number: REFERENCE_BY_POINTER, this was after changing of DC-IN cable aiming for repair of the problem of difficult in OS starting.

Several times the pc was updated for windows or DELL but nearly not used until 2021/11/10, after updating of some windows antivirus and during updating windows10 updates, the pc showed bluescreen again with error number: REFERENCE_BY_POINTER.

After restarting, the DELL updates was proceeded when the bluescreen showed again but with error number of DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and during restarting, dell showed SupportAssist of on-board diagnostics with conclusion of hardware no issue.

Then I set the control panel for some like the least 256k or something so to be able to get .dmp file,

also the DELL's SupportAssist for Home PCs was run many times to give the result of unexpected error happened that needed restart.
