    I have a brand new computer and running Linux Fedora 38 but now want to put windows 11 on it. Can I download it and put it on a USB to install it on my new computer. I do have the TPM 2 module as I built the computer. I last used windows 8. Reason for changing is I'm up in age and disabled and would like to have all the new tech and software without fiddling around with Linux anymore.I can receive email at *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

    i suggest trying VMware instead of just the generic fedora program....

    Quality from USB mic sounds compressed on Windows, fine on Fedora Linux.

    Hello!

    I am using an AKG P120 XLR mic with the U-Phoria UMC22 interface, and it sounds terrible as well as compressed on my Windows Laptop, but on Linux it's totally fine. It only happens on my Samsung Galaxy Book Pro, so I thought it was an issue with this laptop itself until I loaded up Fedora on the same exact device and the sound was fine. I am running Windows 11 on the latest update, I've already checked for updates myself. I have tried recording in Audacity, OBS Studio, and some online web apps and they all sound the same, but if I use Fedora Linux on the same device, or another Windows 10/11 desktop it sounds completely fine.

    Partitioning Hard Drives to run windows and linux

    Hi All,

    I have a tower with two hard drives. Until now I have been running windows on the first drive and using the second drive as backup. Now I reformatted the backup drive and installed Fedora Core. The installation was successful but how do I get the computer to boot from that drive? I'm in the BIOS and I see where the windows-platform drive is listed as my primary. I scrolled up to this line in the BIOS and tried pressing the spacebar, the return key, the left and right arrows but nothing will change the windows drive to the linux drive.

    Can anyone tell me precisely and specifically how to make this change? Help is much appreciated. Thanks!
