i have a Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter that does support 5ghz but i can only seem to get 2.4ghz im at a loss as ive tried everything online i can find ive tried to update my internet driver says its the best driver current any information on this as my internet is really slow while on my iphone i get a constant 100mbps while pc a good 10-15 sometimes maybe 5 mps thanks

Try the one from the Broadcom website listed for Windows 10. You may have to restart your computer after installation for it to take effect.

@DeriLoko3 You can use the free program Speccy, to see the make/model of your motherboard, then go to the manufacturer's website and check if there IS a newer driver. Speccy - Free Download Here is mine, for example...

One thing I wouldn't do is just update a driver because of the date. If the driver is giving you problems, then sure. But otherwise... if it ain't broke, don't fix it. *Smile
