Windows 10: I have a Brother ADS2800W scanner. It has been successfully added but still won't scan....

I have a Brother ADS 2800W scanner that I am trying to use for the first time. It has been attached to my HP pc successfully I believe, but it still will not scan. I have no idea why and I have spent the entire day trying to work it out. Why is it this hard? Can you please help? Thank you.

brother ADS-2100E scanning problem

my brother scanner is connected to my deskstop with USB, they can see each other however control centre 4 will no longer work, it keeps telling me the scanner is not connected to my computer. I have done an uninstall and reinstall but same problem.

I have done an error search via brother and it says drivers failed, I have tried updating drivers but desktop tells me current up to date drivers are already installed.

I can use the same scanner using windows scan but this app is pretty poor, is not reliable at scanning documents after 1st attempt

please help.......

What is the make and model of the brother printer/scanner?

Please try the steps recommended below to uninstall printer software

Press Windows key + X, click Apps & Features or Programs and Features

Select your Brother printer.

Select Uninstall.

Press Windows key + R, type control, hit Enter

Open Devices and Printers.

In the Devices and Printers window look for your Brother Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

Click on Drivers tab.

Look for Brother Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

Close Devices and Printers.

Proceed to reinstall the driver.
