Windows 10: I have a CD/DVD given to me by the hospital with ct scan on it but my computer wont even...

So i put the CD inside it sounds like it turns and there is a disc icon next to my mouse pointer but the CD wont open. Help me please

I am unable to watch a DVD that shows my cat scan done in the hospital. I need to know if it is possible to watch this DVD, or can it only be viewed by a doctor? If I can watch it, please tell me in detail what I have to do.

My Dvd drive is listed in my device manager however it is set as cd rom in the description, it also wont open and is not set as my default drive, any suggestions?

Step 1:

I would recommend you to manually update DVD/CD-ROM driver from the
Device Manager.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Step 2:

I suggest you to uninstall the DVD/CD-ROM driver from the Device Manager and check.

Follow the steps to uninstall the driver.

1.
Right click on Start button and click on
Device Manager.

2.
Search for DVD/CD-ROM driver and expand it.

3.
Right click the device, and click
Uninstall.

4.
Restart the computer.

5.
Right click your computer name in Devisysce Manager and click
Scan for hardware changes. Device manager scans your system and automatically reinstalls your device.

If the issue still persists then, I would recommend you to download and install the latest DVD/CD-ROM driver in compatibility mode from the manufacturer and check if it works.
