I have a continuing problem with my A-V SentinelOne flagging StoreDesktopExtension.exe as performing a "Suspicious Activity" Is this a valid executable or have I been compromised? I have found it to be the case on every Windows 10 System in my network. I have recently Wiped or Installed New Drives both Spinning and SSD in a couple of systems and obviously one of the first applications I install is SentinelOne, which immediately flags this and sends notices to all the Security officers who then want to know why.Any Information would be very much appreciated.

Voice Recorder Flags Disappeared

To assist you better, please answer the below:

  Are you using windows built-in voice recorder or any other 3rd party voice recorder application?
  
• 
  If you are using Build in Windows recorder, how did you put the flag?
  

If you are using built-in Windows recorder, there is no option to put a flag on recorded voice. Provide us the screenshot of recording interface with Flag.

In case if you are using any 3rd party recorder, then I suggest you to contact the developer of the application for further help.

VirusTotal is Flagging Windows .exe's

I see this:








So nothing to worry about. Files scan clean with onboard AV and secondary Anti-Malware programs.

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.
