Windows 10: i have a custom built computer windows 10 and i want to have my d drive the primary drive...

I have a 250 GB SSD c drive that has all the operating systems and a 3T hard drive d drive, the problem is I use this computer for gaming, and it's causing issues with latency and lag because the c drive is the main drive. i have looked online at how to solve this but I feel I'm getting the wrong information for my problem, I have tried changing the pathways but when i try and change the letters of the drives I get an error. i thought I could safely transfer all the files from the c drive to the d drive and then re-wire the physical drivers in the motherboard but some files i can't copy or mov

1. What is the make and model number of your Computer?
   

Please note that recovery "D" is a partition on the hard drive which contains the image of the Operating system. You can use it to restore the computer back to factory settings. You should not attempt to store files in it.
If you have any data saved on the D drive, I would suggest you to move it to an external drive and to free up some space, you can follow the steps provided in the article:

After Installing windows 10, only my C Drive and D: Drive is showin my other drive for flash drive is not showing? Everything has become a nightmare
