I have a dell inspiron 3511 i5 11th generation. Headphones work only after restarting with headphones plugged in. I already re-install windows 11 and update all drives. even though I replaced the audio jack still had no luck.

I had that problem in my Dell Inspiron 7779 once when I removed the Dell-supplied audio driver and reverted to an MS one.

I suggest that you backup your drivers before taking any remedial action.
- This works in both Windows 10 & Windows 11.

You could go to Dell Drivers n downloads - Dell, put in your Dell Service tag and download then install their latest driver.
- While you're there, check for any Bios updates.
- Even if you have not reverted as I did, reinstalling the driver might clear the problem.
- Naturally, there is no guarantee that Dell's Windows 10 driver will work in Windows 11.

Installing programs on new Dell Inspiron 3511

I just bought a Dell Inspiron 3511 Windows 11. I was able to install Adobe CC without any problem but I can't install the Spyder 3 utility. I am attaching the dialog box. It says "the administrator has blocked you from running this app. For more information contact the administrator." I am the administrator. " What do I need to do to get this to install?
