Windows 10: I have a fault

I get occasional occurences of a fault where the underlines on the task bar, that show a program is running, disappear. The thumbnails when hovering over task bar icons are blurred. This is accompanied by a change in the font, in File Explorer, to a bold font. It is sometimes resolved by shutting down Windows Explorer, but sometimes needs a reboot to fully return to normal. It happens randomly and never yet when I am doing something in Explorer.

Receiving Page Fault Error

I understand that you are receiving a page fault error while starting the PC. I’ll certainly help you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?
  
• Does the computer boot to the Desktop?
  

I would suggest you to share the dump files so that we can analyze them and get to the root cause of the issue. To share the files Navigate to
C:\Windows\Minidump, upload the files to OneDrive and share the OneDrive link.



Meanwhile, I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article

Troubleshoot blue screen errors and see if that helps.

Display Crashes since updating graphics drivers

Did you uninstall the apps that are listed as Faulting three places in your first post, as I suggested in Step 1 of my first post? Please try this and report back results.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
   • Double click the executable to open it
   • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.


There seem to be a lot of app crashes from Realtek audio, I would suggest a reinstallation of the drivers.
