Windows 10: I have a half purple screen on my laptop

    I have a half purple screen on my laptop


    My hp laptop was connected to the tv through hdmi while I was playing a little game on it, power went off and so did the tv but on my laptop screen it was different. Half of the screen was purple while the other half was normal. I don't know what caused it given that this laptop is just a little over 2 years old and has never fallen before. My drivers are up to date and my CPU cannot overclock so its neither of those issues. I want to know if this is something I can resolve by myself before I take it to a technician so any solution is much appreciated

    Laptop with broken screen How much?

    I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

    Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

    Hi,



    I have experienced the same today. At first everything seems to be fine, after 2 hours, half of the screen went purple, when i took it out again one hour later, the whole screen went purple.....



    Could you please provide me how to get to Nokia support and how did you fix it at the end? Do I need to do anything to prevent further leaking? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    I am wanting to know if and how I can get a purple tint on my laptop screen. I suffer from regular migraines and the opticians have given me a purple overlay for when reading books, work etc but I am now starting to struggle on my laptop too.
