    I have a Headphone connected to a windows laptop through USB-C, and ONLY the MICROPHONE...


    My device is ASUS M16 GU603ZW with latest Windows 11 dev preview with Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.23531.1001.0.A have a Headphone connects to it througth USB-C, and only it seems like it now become only a microphone, since it only shows as input device.And since I have a Linux system installed on my laptop, I reboot into it, and find out it works fine now...Then after ruled out headphone failure, I run the playing audio trouble shoot and it helps nothing...I've reinstalled the realtek driver and Intel audio driver and it doesn't help..

    1. What is the model number of the Bose headphone?
    2. How are you trying to connect the headphones to the laptop?
    3. What is the model number of your ASUS laptop?
    4. Are you using a wired or a wireless Bose headphone?


    I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in Connecting To A Computer
    and try connecting your headphones to the laptop.



    If you are still facing issues connecting the headphones to the laptop, I suggest you to elaborate on the issue, so that we can understand the concern and reply to us to help you further.

    Internal microphone no longer working after headphones were plugged in via USB-C port

    As the title suggest, my internal microphone no longer works (and I believe it is no longer recognized) after I plugged in headphones into a hub that was plugged into USB-C port. Any suggestions?

    Okay, so I have an Asus laptop with Windows 10. I am using an Ultimate Ears Headphone with built in microphone. The problem is that i want to use the headphone part, but all the the laptop registers is the microphone.
