Hello all, So I'm just using my PC when my keyboard all of a sudden frays... Sizzle and fray... Ironic considering I was in a bad mood. I took a break, remembered I can connect my PHONE to my PC, so I do and it works fine. But now when I double-left click using the mouse it automatically goes into the Properties section of the app? As if I went to right click, move my mouse down and select properties... When I never did that. As a result, On-screen keyboard couldn't get phone to multi-task doesn't do any good, with Google Chrome, pressing the F key on ANY keyboard brings up the 3 dots menu.

    :)

    Win10/HP Pavillion - PIN "unavailable"

Using Win10 on an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop

PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
followed the steps suggested, but they don't work

    Suggestions?.

Logitech wireless keyboard / mouse hangs

    Problems

    • Intermittent nature
    • The mouse will often hang (won't move)
    • The keyboard will often not type
    • Sometimes, the keys get saved up and come out later all at once, and sometimes they never come out
    • The mouse seems to have difficulty traveling to the top left of the screen.

    Equipment

    • Dell Precision M3800 Laptop
    • Windows 10 Professional operating system
    • Logitech wireless keyboard (K270)
    • Logitech wireless mouse (M185). They came in the same box / use the same dongle.
    • "Plugable USB 3.0" docking station that runs the DisplayLink software. It has two monitors attached to it, one by DVI and the other by HDMI. It's plugged into the laptop by USB.

    Troubleshooting Steps Taken

    • Wired keyboard and wired mouse work great.
    • When wireless was plugged in, it was in a USB port on the laptop itself, not the docking station
    • I rerouted the monitors to plug directly into the laptop (take this docking station out of the equation). So far the wireless keyboard/mouse are not malfunctioning. This seems to indicate that the docking station is a necessary component to reproduce the problem). But I have to give it 1-2 days to make sure because the problem is intermittent.

    Question

What would be a good first choice for a fix I can try that won't hurt anything (update a driver...where?)?

Logitech G604 Mouse recognized as keyboard

    Hi Rafastang,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

It sounds like a driver or software issue causing your Logitech G604 mouse to be recognized as a keyboard when using the USB dongle. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Update Logitech G Hub Software: Make sure you have the latest version of Logitech G Hub installed.

    2. Reinstall Mouse Drivers: Uninstall the current mouse drivers from Device Manager and then reinstall them. You can also try downloading and installing the latest drivers from the Logitech website directly.

    3. Remove Other HID Devices: If there are other HID (Human Interface Device) devices connected, try removing them temporarily to see if they are causing any conflicts with the mouse.

    4. Contact Logitech Support: If the issue persists, consider contacting Logitech support for further assistance. They may have specific troubleshooting steps or firmware updates to resolve this issue.

I hope this helps. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Your Sincerely
