    I need to upgrade the laptop from home to Pro and I do not have the password for the microsoft account that the laptop is associated with. I have a different microsoft account that I could use, but it wont give me that option.

    No It didnt appear in my spam box but I updated to Windows live Messenger which sent the confirmation email and also verified windows messenger. Ty everyone for there suggestions
