Windows 10: i have a Little microphone at the bottom right corner of every window i open and i dont...

ive been trying to get apps to run in vr but its not working becuse it is having a Gui error and i think it was becuse of overwolf but it is not

Cortana Microphone headset problems.

Thank you for using Windows 10.

I understand your concern. I suggest you to follow the steps:

• Open settings by clicking thee windows icon the click settings.
• Search Sound in the top right corner and click it.
• Then right click the one device you want to use, then click default communication device.
• Then try Cortana.

As you've already set up microphone but I would suggest you to check again by typing microphone set up and go through that, it should set everything up for you.

Hi,

thanks for the answer.

The microphone seems to be working fine. I did the checks you've suggested. It is set as default device and the drivers are updated, as well.

I'm able to use the microphone normally in other aplications, such as Skype.

I'm still getting the error message "Something's not right. Try again in a little bit" whem I click the microphone icon within Cortana.

• Type “Troubleshooter” in the search box and press Enter.
• Click on ‘View All’ on the top left corner.
• Click on “Recording Audio” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.
