Windows 10: I have a message on the front page when logging in that says download the OneDrive mobile...

When I turn on the computer, all I get is a white screen with the date and time appropriately displayed. Below that is a small icon with a blue box that says download the OneDrive mobile app. I cannot get past that to get to the settings, bar or anything else it’s locked on that page. I have contacted the Asus company and they said this is a Microsoft issue would appreciate help

• When you say, "generic circle above my log-in name" what exactly are you referring to?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• Click on Start.
• Click on Settings.
• Click on Account.
• Under Accounts, select the option "Your account".
• Under Your picture, click on
  Browse option and you may select the picture of your choice so that it is display on your account sign-in page.

If the above steps doesn't work, I want you to send us a screenshot of the issue so that we can assist you accordingly.

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

OneDrive Download Issue

OneDrive app Issue -

When I open any folder under OneDrive, there is a message that says, “Download the OneDrive mobile app.” I can’t delete it from reappearing. See insert.
.
My computer is only 3 weeks old. And, I do not have a mobile phone.

This what I have done:
1. In Notification and Actions setting, I deselected OneDrive. That did not help.
2. I contacted OneDrive and they told me to unlink and relink OneDrive. When I told them it did not resolve my issue, they were unable to offer any other solutions.

How can I delete this message from reappearing?
