Windows 10: I have a monitor connected to my PC via bluetooth that I did not connect, what should I do?

Two weeks ago I was working on my computer when sunddendly it blacked out, a few seconds later it turned back on it looked normal, until I went to connect my earphones via bluetooth and I noticed there was a monitor connected to my PC, I also noticed that I couldn't adjust the brightness of my screen and that the suspend option was missing, I tried disconnecting the monitor and reboting my PC, but that doesn't work, what should I do?

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

 

No sound as PC is connected to a bluetooth device.

As per your description, I understand that there is no sound in your PC as it shows that it is currently connected to a Bluetooth device which you do not recognize.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

1. Have you connected your PC to Bluetooth speakers?

2. Do you recognize the device that is connected to your PC?

3. Does the Bluetooth device display under Control Panel > Devices and Printers?



For now, I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if you will be able to remove the device in question.

To remove the device from your PC, follow the steps below

• Select Start > Settings > Devices >
  Bluetooth.
• Select the paired Bluetooth device that you want to remove > Remove device >
  Yes.

Can’t connect Xbox one controller to pc

Initially, we need to pair the device to show up in the list while connected through Bluetooth. Check with the below mentioned steps and see if it works.
