Windows 10: I have a MS Arc Mouse and the cursor jumps - a lot

I have an ARC mouse installed on my Surface Pro and find that the cursor jumps around. I previously used a MS Bluetooth mouse 3600 , which ran super smooth, but that is now being used on a another laptop. I did disable the 3600 as a connected device and it no longer shows in the list:



I did check that the driver is the latest version:





My device details are:

I do see some older posts on this same issue, but none of the suggestions worked for me and the topics are closed too, so I am starting a new one.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your fast respond.

But it seems the problem is not with the arc mouse. I turned off the mouse and wile using the touch pad on the keyboard, the cursor acts the same as before... It suddenly jumps to the corner of the screen...

What do I do now?

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
• Click OK.

• Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?
• What is the exact of your Surface device?
• Please clarify that the issue is about the ARC Bluetooth Mouse somehow locks your computer and sends you to the lockscreen.
