Windows 10: I have a problem related to getting audio using HDMI cables.

Two weeks ago, my HDMI stopped to send audio to my TV. I checked she is different from the cable try with 4 TV and monitors. Also, I noticed that sound outputs no longer show the icon from my TV audio since I ran a Windows update two weeks ago.My Windows version is 22H2.In addition, the HDMI port sends video but does not send audio, I try with the original SSD of my laptop, and it works for both audio and video. I go back to the previous version of Windows 11. It may get fixed, but I do not want to reset my device and program setting.My device is a Yoga 7 16IAH7.I tried re-installing all the d

Sound problems with HDMI cable after upgrading to win 10 - every day

• Is this issue specific to particular audio and video?

I suggest you to connect the HDMI cable in different port and also use different HDMI cable. Also check the settings for ‘AUDIO’ and ‘VIDEO’ in the TV settings.

hdmi cable audio problem

I am running Windows 10 on a lap top computer and I am connecting to an external monitor via an hdmi cable. Video will transmit over the cable but not audio. I have checked the playback devices and have a default speaker/HP Realtek High Definition Audio
device. No other high definition audio devices are on my computer. I tested a friends laptop by connecting it to my external monitors using the same hdmi cable and both sound and video are carried over the cable. His computer recognizes the following device:
CP9287 (2-high definition audio device) automatically when hdmi cable is plugged into the laptop.

Do I need an update to windows 10 or do I have other problems. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Can't get sound through HDMI cable

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and can no longer get sound through my HDMI cable. The video works fine. I am on a Dell laptop and a Panasonic Viera TV. When I go to the start menu and go to sound, it says Realtek High Definition Audio output as a playback
device but there is nothing about HDMI. (Other posts/replies seem to suggest that HDMI should be listed.) I am not terribly sophisticated with this stuff so a simple solution would be much appreciated.
