Discus and support i have a problem with microsoft store not downloading realteck audio control in Microsoft Windows 10 Store to solve the problem; i get this error code 0x803FB005 i dont know if it is because i don't have a mic or speakersi use hdmi cord because i use tv as monitor for my pc and...     i get this error code 0x803FB005 i dont know if it is because i don't have a mic or speakersi use hdmi cord because i use tv as monitor for my pc and its audio drivers are amd and realteck high definition audio also my pc has msi motherboard b350/a320 bazooka with windows 10 i never had a mis account untill i made one yesterday and i just want my drivers, programs , and utility's all installed correctly and msi live update 6 didn't install the bluetooth drivers and intel wifi drivers didn't install completely i downloaded them from intel website instead and it said realteck hd audio drivers installed but it doesn't work and i wanted to see if installing realteck audio would fix it but i can't install it because of this error code 0x803FB005 please help.

    I am sorry to hear the issue you have experienced with Audio device performance upon upgrading to Windows 10. Let’s both work together to fix the issue.

    Please answer to these questions:

    - Have you tried installing the latest driver for this device?

    Follow the below mentioned steps to fix the issue:

    Method 1:

    Run built in Audio Device troubleshooter

    * Press Windows Key then type ‘troubleshoot’ and hit Enter

    * Select “View all” on the left panel and run “Playing Audio” troubleshooter from the list and see if it works

    Method 2:

    Try updating the drivers and check if it helps

    a) Open run command by pressing Windows key + R and type “devmgmt.msc” (without quotes) and hit Enter.

    b) Spot and expand the “'Audio inputs and outputs'”.

    c). Right click on the “High Definition Audio Device” and select “Update Driver Software”. Once this is done, restart the computer to check the problem fixed.

    Uninstall and reinstall sound card driver:

    If there are no update available, download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website and install it on the system by uninstalling the current driver. You can uninstall the driver by following the same steps, and select ‘Uninstall’, instead of selecting
    the “Update Driver Software” from the menu.

    To understand the issue better, I would like to know what is the make and model of the computer and headphone?



    Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below methods.

    Method 1.

    I would suggest you to run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue.


    • Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel.

    • Click on Hardware and sound under Troubleshoot computer problems.

    • Click on Hardware and devices under Devices.

    • Click on Advanced on the Hardware and devices dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
    • Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
    If the issue still persist, try the below method.

    Method 2.

    Step 1.

    I suggest you to uninstall/reinstall the sound adapter driver and check.


    • Press Windows key + X and select
      Device manager
      .

    • Now click on Sound, video and game controllers
      to expand, right click on the device and click on uninstall.

    • Once you are done installing the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the sound adapter driver.
    If the still persist, try the below steps.

    Step 2.

    I suggest you to update the audio driver and check.


    • Press Windows key + X and select
      Device manager
      .
    • Now click on Sound, video and game controllers and right click on it and
      update the software.
    If the above methods did not help to fix the issue, try the below method.

    Method 3.

    I recommend you to go to the computer manufacturer website and download the latest updated sound adapter driver for Windows 10 and install the same. If the available driver is not for Windows 10 try installing the driver in compatibility
    mode.


    • Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

    • Select Compatibility tab.

    • Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

    • Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

    This issue might have occurred due to corrupted or incompatible audio drivers installed on your system.

    I would suggest you to update Audio drivers and check. If issue persists again reinstall latest drivers from manufacturer's website in compatibility mode:

    Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

    1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

    2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

    3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

    5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
