Windows 10: I have a problem with my mic

I have the latest drivers working perfectly for my tascam condenser mic and my audio interface.When i open audacity to record something, it sounds sharp and it works perfectly, but when i open, let's say skype or zoom cloud meetings and test my microphone with echo sound service (on skype) i get very weak audio, and the internet does not play a role, the interface working properly because tested in audacity, again mic working properly because tested with audacity.I don't know what conclusions to draw.I could use a little help.Thank you guys.

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

im having the same problem as well, gone through all the steps listed but still no luck unfortunately.

Headset mic not working

This might occur when some of the mic setting got corrupted.

I would suggest you to try running Recording audio troubleshooter.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the Search area on the taskbar and select
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Select Recording Audio under
  Sound and follow the on screen.
