Windows 10: I have a problem with my Wedge Keyboard

Hi i have a problem with my microsoft wedge I have had it for about 2 yrs last night, it suddenly stopped working so I changed the batterys connected & pairedup again its showing its paired on my pc but theres no output from wedge to screen ie when im typing its not showing up on screen theres nothing at all but its showing as paired & connected, ive been disconnected & reconnecting but no help at all. Can you please help with this problem. Cheers

Microsoft Wedge Bluetooth keyboard not recognised in win10

Hi all, this is actually a rather weird situation as the Microsoft Wedge keyboard & mouse have been working along for more than 1yr already. But recently the battery of the keyboard went dead so I replaced the battery. Low & behold, the bluetooth connection
was lost so I tried to pair it again. Now when I tried to add device thru settings, the setting kept searching for bluetooth device but I only see 'unknown' devices showing up. Not the microsoft wedge bluetooth keyboard that I was expecting. BUT when
I checked the device manager, the wedge keyboard is listed under bluetooth devices. I tried to uninstall the device and have it added by the system again. The system tray at lower right would say device setup complete WHILE the the 'add' device is STILL
looking for my keyboard. My w10 is version 1703. (I'm still struggling to update to 1709 which is a different topic!)

So this simple installation of new battery is turning into a nightmare. Any suggestion pls?

Sadly Microsoft wedge mobile keyboard is not supported on windows 10 and is compatible only up till windows 8.1 as listed in the official documentation by Microsoft itself here
