I have a family tree program but the company that made it no longer exists. The program worked on an early version of windows, probably a 32 bit version. It does not work on Windows 10. Is there some way to access or download a simulation environment (virtual machine) that will let me run it and see all the work I once did on constructing a family tree?

DOS commands in a virtual 32-bit machine under Win 10

On my current Windows 7 Pro machine, I often run a virtual 32-bit Win XP application in Command Prompt, the old DOSKEY command among others.

Will I be able to run any of my 32-bit DOS commands in Windows 10?

I'm buying a Lexia 3 Diagbox which is a vehicle diagnostics system for Peugeot & Citroen vehicles & is intended to be used in conjunction with a laptop.

The system will only run on either an XP or Windows 7 32 bit laptop but it will run on a virtual machine.

I therefore intend to run it on a 10" 64 bit Asus Notebook running on Windows 10 Home Edition.

Is there a Microsoft virtual machine that I can use & if so where do I get it & how do I install XP or Windows 7 onto it.
