C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink I have a random folder in d drive that needs admin rights to delete ;)
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.

  4. I have a random folder in d drive that needs admin rights to delete

    Help!! Can not delete folder

I ran into this problem while reorganizing my data drive. I had a folder called Anime that was being shared @ location D:\Anime. I wanted to delete this folder because nothing was in it and no one could access it anyway. Problem was, when ever I tried to delete or change anything even open it, it told me I did not have rights to access it, I AM ADMIN. WTF? I can not delete, open, modify, or hide this folder. Help!!! Unlocker won't do anything either.
