Windows 10: I have a small yellow text block on by screen with the words "Restore Up" in it.

I have a small yellow text block on by screen with the words "Restore Up" in it. It overlays everything and i cannot remove it unless i close visual studio, it does not appear unless i have used visual studio, so I'm guessing they're connected. Visual studio is up to date, as after it appeared i updated it to see if that stop it from appearing, but it still shows up.It doesn't show up straight away only after a short time has passed with visual studio open, and the text block is always in different locations too.I use windows 11 Home too

Thanks for your reply. The fix that you suggested will change the desktop background color but does not change the black screen in the task bars or the window I am currently typing in. All of my programs, email, excel, word are still in black with yellow
or white text. Thanks, but this didn't solve my problem. Al

 

Deleting specific words from the predictive text dictionary

Hi, BigOnion. Welcome to our community. There's no option to delete a specific word. But, you may try suggesting the idea through this link: Feature

If in case you want the words not to be suggested or reset the personal dictionary, here is how you do it:



Windows Phone 8

1. Go to Settings > keyboard > tap your language keyboard.
   
2. Uncheck Suggest text.
3. Press the Back key to return to the keyboard screen.
   
4. Press advanced > reset suggestions
   to remove all the words you have added to your suggestion list, but keep the ones that came with your phone.
   

Windows Phone 7

1. Go to Settings > keyboard > select input languages under
   Choose keyboard languages.
2. Press typing settings > press input language under
   Keyboard.
3. Uncheck Suggest text and highlight misspelt words.
   
4. Press the Back key to return to the typing settings screen.
   
5. Press reset suggestions to remove all the words that you have added to your suggestion list, but keep the ones that came with your phone.
