Windows 10: I have a third monitor that is a touch screen, once use it as a touch screen it registers...

I cannot access the setup function under the tablet PC settings to make my 3rd monitor the Touch screen capable work. Every time I touch the screen it registers on my primary monitor. I looked for hours and tried countless solutions from this Microsoft site and even went to other forums. Did Microsoft disable this feature? All I need is my 3rd monitor THE ONLY TOUCH SCREEN ONE to be touch screen and not input on my main monitor. I have tried new drivers, uninstalling, this Tablet PC settings that does not work and just about everything i found or can think of. Please Microsoft pull it toge

Touch screens

If the majority of people were like me, then touch-screens won't be "the future".

1) Touching the screen makes it smudge. What's the use of having an expensive, high resolution monitor if every time you use it it ends up looking as if it was full of dead pixels?

2) Touch screens are uncomfortable for long-time or leisure use. I want to rest my elbow comfortably on a chair, my wrist on my mouse-mat / desk, and my hand on the mouse. Having my shoulder angled at 90 degrees to touch my monitor all the time would be very tiring.

3) Touch screens might be comfortable only for small monitors, certainly not much larger than 19". Imagine using the technology on a 50 inch monitor... well, then you'd be doing pilates I guess.

4) Touch screens are definitely not the future for pc gaming. Can you imagine playing a first person shooter on a touch-screen monitor? I'd break it up on my first try...

The only touch screen I would use is a phone.

 

Touch Screen Monitor Recommendation

As the title implies, my friend is looking for a cheap and small touch screen monitor for general use on his pc. He's got an HIS 5850 (reference design) for the gpu, so hopefully they're compatible with that.

I have no idea what to look for in a touch screen, all I know is that he wants a small one and cheap one. Any suggestions?

Also, how do they hook up? Does it just use a standard DVI connection and a USB to transmit the data or is it a special cable?
