    I have a Verbatim 47512 1TB external hard drive that is not recognised over USB.


    I now wish to pull the data off it via my computer and store is on a NAS, but it is not recognised at all in file manager only windows beeps when connected. It is plugged into a USB2 port which runs other hardware perfectly and its indicator light is steady, indicating power is there. I am aware that the TV formatted the drive, and it worked perfectly in that situation. I have searched the web for a software fix without a real concrete strategy. Can anyone please help?
