I have a windows 10 desktop pc that uses a wireless mouse, a wireless keyboard and a receiver. I also have my own wireless router, a tp-link router. Somehow, my internet access shuts down which then makes my wireless router and keyboard useless and unresponsive. I have changed the batteries in my wireless mouse and keyboard and that did not help. I shut everything down - the modem, the wifi router, and my desktop windows 10 pc. I wait awhile, then reboot everythign. I check my settings and find that my wireless router is not automatically connected, so I choose the wifi connection that I

compatible with Windows 10, which might be the reason for the issue you are facing.

We would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to install the driver from the repository and check if it resolves the issue.

1. Open Device Manager.
2. Right click on wireless keyboard and mouse driver and select Update driver.
3. Click on Let me pick from a list of device on my computer.
4. Click on Browser my computer for device software.
5. Select Human Interface Device and click on USB composite device.
6. Then follow on-screen instructions to complete the process.

If the issue still persists, check for the version of Microsoft Mouse and keyboard center installed on your computer, as entertainment keyboard 7000 and wireless laser mouse 8000 is supported by

This usually happens if there’s a signal interference. If you’re using a Wi-Fi router, you may want to move it away from the keyboard/mouse receiver to see if the issue persists.

• Outdated device driver
• No device driver installed
• Faulty wireless mouse receiver

We would like to know some information to better isolate the issue:

• Have you done any changes (like updating your Windows) on your computer prior to the issue?
  
• Have you tried using using your wireless mouse on other computer and checked if the issue persists?
• Have you tried updating your wireless mouse driver?
