    I have a Windows 10 laptop. Magix Audio Cleaning Lab won't record properly


    Refurbished Windows 10 laptop. Bought Magix Audio Cleaning Lab. It records but quality is extremely poor and weak with hissing. Nothing wrong with Magix disc. I've had MACL before with an older Windows 10 laptop without any issues.

    Maybe you can help me further? My laptop had a virus and I took it to an IT shop who "cleaned it". Everything is fine except for Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 17. I reinstalled this with the disc and while copying cd's is fine, when I record from the radio
    or Spotify, the playback is muted, distorted and has a hissing sound. The IT shop have tried everything without success and I signed up for help from Magix but they have also been unable to sort the matter out. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

    We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

    • Type troubleshooting on the search box.
    • Click View all.
    • Select Recording Audio.
    • Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

    • Was there a particular error message every time the recording is paused?
    • Have you tried running the Recording Audio troubleshooter to check if it would help?
    If you haven't done so, please try the following steps:

    • Press Windows key
    • Type Troubleshooting, hit Enter.
    • Click Hardware and Sound.
    • Click Recording Audio and then click
