I have a Windows 11 laptop and for some reason I can connect to 5g networks, but I'm not actually getting any wifi. There shouldn't be a problem with the network itself since It works on my phone

Cannot connect to my 5G network

Hi, I recently bought a new laptop Lenovo and it works just fine until recently I am not able to connect to my 5G network even though my 5G network is available in the list of available network but it says "cannot connect to this network"

-using windows 11 with the latest updates

-my laptop does support 5G network
-tried restarting the laptop but no luck
-updated the wireless driver from device manager but nothing.

so if someone could help me with this situation would be great..

Thank you for the suggestion but unfortunately the methods did not solve the issue and i still cannot connect to my 5G network

-processor -> AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon graphics
OS -> Microsoft windows 11 home

 

Connecting my ASUS Laptop to 5G Internet

I have an Asus laptop with windows 10 and I just got spectrum wifi that has both a 2G and 5G connection and yet the laptop refuses to show the 5G connection which I need for school. The Network adapter list includes Bluetooth options, the Qualcomm Atheros
AR956x WNA, Realtek PCle GBE Family Controller, and a LOT of WAN Miniport options. If anyone could help figure out how to get the stronger connection or let me know what windows computer would allow me to connect to the 5G network it would be much appreciated
