I reinstalled the windows and after a day it showed the graphic card suddenly. Still, when I downloaded a new game it asked the drivers to be updated so I updated it from the Nvidia site as GeForce was not able to install the update, as soon as that, I had a blue screen with the stop code: DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION, the laptop restarted and then was not able to detect that GPU, tries reinstalling windows, but after that also the graphic card was not being detected and it didn't even show in device manager, please provide a step by step guide to resolve it.

• Do you get any error message while playing or to launch a game?

I suggest you to unhide the hidden drivers in Device Manager by following the steps provided below and check if the Graphic card driver is visible:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Click on View and click on Show Hidden Devices.

"sound card cannot be found". Does the Device Manager list it, and with an error? Or is it no listed in the Device Manager?
If its not listed at all, that suggests the BIOS is not detecting it or there is a BIOS error. Windows will not detect it if the BIOS does not.

You can try a BIOS reset and see if that helps, if its not being detected by the BIOS.

Hi Captain.

While I'm not answering your question on a new AV I would suggest as a possible step, upgrading your ram.

Crucial has ram for your device. $40 (not sure about tax or shipping) Your device seems to have one slot so you would need the 4GB stick. As you are using 32bit OS you can only use of 3GB. Crucial says you have one slot for memory and tear down videos seem to confirm this.

Memory is static sensitive. Not as much of an issue when it is humid but still something to be aware of. If you don't want to buy a ground strap touch something that is grounded before starting the procedure and then don't go looking for things. Stay seated and perform. You should be fine.

External ram ??? Even if you could buy you wouldn't have port with sufficient speed to connect.
